Most casinos chasing UK players live and die by the Gambling Commission’s rulebook. mr jones casino took the other road – an Anjouan licence, a lobby north of nine thousand titles, and a cashier that accepts debit cards alongside a couple of hundred cryptocurrencies. Whether that reads as freedom or as a red flag depends entirely on what you want from a casino.
What Sits Behind the Licence
The Anjouan Gaming Commission issued the operating licence under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005, with ChapChap Technologies Ltd running the show. That paperwork isn’t decorative. It obliges certified random number generators across every game, anti-money-laundering controls, and identity verification before a single withdrawal clears. What it does not do is hand the site to UKGC oversight – which is exactly why it sits outside GamStop and Gamban, and why players who’ve self-excluded elsewhere can still open an account here.
The Games, Without the Hype
Roughly 8,400 slots from more than seventy studios – Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Hacksaw, ELK, Yggdrasil and the rest. Megaways, Hold & Win, Bonus Buy, Book-style games, and forty-plus progressives including Mega Moolah and Divine Fortune. Return-to-player figures generally land between 96% and 98%, and the site publishes them. Live casino adds 450+ tables from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, SA Gaming and others, with stakes from pennies up to £5,000 a hand. Autoplay and Quickspin still work here – small comfort, but players who remember them miss them.

Banking, Limits and Speed
| Detail | Standard account | VIP Gold / Platinum |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | £20 | £20 |
| Minimum withdrawal | £100 | £100 |
| Weekly withdrawal cap | £2,500 | Up to £5,000 |
| Monthly withdrawal cap | £10,000 | Up to £20,000 |

One clause trips people up: every deposit must be wagered three times before a withdrawal request, even with no bonus attached. Crypto settles fastest once approved; e-wallets usually land same day; cards and bank transfers crawl along for three to ten business days.
Getting In Cleanly
- Register in the browser – no download, under three minutes, one account per household.
- Submit your ID and proof of address at sign-up rather than at withdrawal time. Printed utility bills beat PDF statements.
- Switch on two-factor authentication in account settings.
- Set deposit and loss limits before your first spin, not after a bad night.
If you want a casino that answers to a UK regulator, this isn’t it, and no amount of polish changes that. If you want the bigger library, the card deposits, the crypto rails and the cashback that lands daily, then treat the licence as a trade-off you’re consciously making – and do the KYC and the limits up front. The players who complain loudest about slow payouts are almost always the ones who left verification until the money was already sitting there waiting.
